UnitedHealth Group is seeking a skilled Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of excellent patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families
  • Support practice operations team with staff coverage plans, scheduling, and float coverage
  • Manage office supply ordering, organization, and distribution
  • Communicate effectively with patients, staff, management, and physicians
  • Assist with staff scheduling and support the manager as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information
  • Provide accurate information for scheduling and maintain open communication regarding schedule changes
Secondary Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients, family members, and guests with a friendly smile
  • Assist patients with signing in and completing registration
  • Enter and scan patient demographic and insurance information into Epic
  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefit information; inform patients of insurance benefits
  • Collect co-payments and patient balances
  • Answer incoming phone calls in a courteous and prompt manner; direct calls and take messages
