Position Overview:
We are seeking an Institutional Services Analyst to support our Institutional and International Wealth Management (IWM) team in enhancing our business development and client service initiatives. The analyst will assist the Head of Institutional and IWM Services, contribute to essential operations, and engage in projects aimed at process enhancement and automation. This role offers extensive exposure to our institutional investment management operations and investment strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in projects aimed at institutionalizing and developing processes, including monitoring project timelines, budgets, and deliverables; track progress to ensure deadlines are met.
- Support the Head of Institutional and IWM Services with onboarding and offboarding major client relationships, addressing complex client inquiries, and managing Investment Management Agreements, side letters, Subscription Agreements, and Amendments.
- Enhance process efficiency for all necessary data and documentation while monitoring existing contractual obligations.
- Create, document, and maintain procedures for Institutional and IWM Services.
- Manage client information and service requests utilizing Salesforce.
- Coordinate with relevant internal teams, including Sales, Portfolio Operations, Investor Relations, Finance, Legal, and Compliance, to support client requests and project deliverables.
- Assist in organizing meetings and providing support for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide backup for daily operations, including subscription and redemption processes for separate accounts, mutual funds, and private funds; team workflows, client onboarding, and terminations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in financial services, particularly in client services within institutional asset management; experience in project management and operations is advantageous.
- Strong project management and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint; familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- A collaborative team player with a positive attitude and a proactive approach.
- A strong sense of personal accountability, integrity, and work ethic.
Compensation and Benefits:
The base salary range for this position is $70,000 - $85,000, and it is eligible for an annual incentive bonus. Compensation may vary based on the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
