Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, cost controls, and kitchen operations to ensure seamless food production and exceptional guest experiences.

- Ensure the quality and consistency of food products, including sauces, soups, and blue plate specials, by implementing quality control measures and monitoring inventory levels.
- Coordinate the preparation and presentation of food for banquets and special events, working closely with the Executive Chef and other culinary team members.
- Monitor and control kitchen inventory, including food, supplies, and equipment, to optimize resource utilization and minimize waste.
- Develop and implement new recipes and menu items to enhance the dining experience and drive revenue growth.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to ensure the kitchen is running efficiently and effectively, with a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Know the location of the grease disposal area and follow proper procedures to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Utilize proper recycling procedures and trash disposal to minimize waste and promote sustainability.
- Adhere to hotel standards of procurement, storage, and off-property pass procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- 1-2 years of management experience in a high-volume fine dining steakhouse environment.
- Interior of hotel, in restaurant and kitchen areas, with exposure to humidity, steam, and extreme temperatures.
- Exposure to food and beverage hazardous cleaning chemicals.
