Executive Pastry Chef

Eatzi's Market & Bakery is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Pastry Chef to lead our Pastry Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of all pastry goods, including cookies, brownies, breads, cakes, puddings, pastries, and desserts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Pastry Department, including ordering and inventory management
- Supervise and train Pastry Players, ensuring high-quality production and consistency
- Develop and implement recipes for high-volume production
- Manage labor costs and ensure a safe, organized, and clean kitchen environment
- Monitor and control the cost of goods sold within the Pastry Department
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in all phases of baking
- Two years of technical school or certified apprenticeship preferred
- Ability to train, develop, and assess player performance
- Experience in managing labor and food cost
- Ability to create innovative desserts made from scratch
