We are currently seeking highly motivated and compassionate Direct Support Professionals to join our team at Wright Residential Homes. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to developmentally disabled adults, helping them live fulfilling lives.

About the Job:

  • Assist clients with daily personal tasks, including bathing and dressing, toileting and feeding.
  • Complete housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, washing dishes and tidying.
  • Assist clients with prescribed medication.
  • Help plan client appointments and organize a schedule.
  • Organize transportation arrangements to appointments.
  • Shop for groceries and prepare meals that meet specific client dietary needs.
  • Encourage client engagement in social networks and communities.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • DSP 1 & DSP 2 certification preferred.
  • Certifications: First Aid, CPR, and CPI.
  • 1-2 years' experience working with developmentally disabled adults.

Benefits:

  • $45,000 per year salary, estimated based on industry standards and location.
  • Finger printing, DOJ criminal background clearance, satisfactory reference checks, health screening, negative TB test, and proof of full vaccination against Covid-19.
