About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional II to join our team at Redwood Family Care Network.

This role is responsible for providing daily support and care to adults with developmental disabilities, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

  • Assist clients with daily routines, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to promote independence, confidence, and overall quality of life.
  • Promote positive behavior and address challenging behaviors using CPI techniques.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, families, and colleagues through effective communication and collaboration.

Salary: $20-$23 per hour (dependent on experience)

Location: La Puente, CA 91746

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; CPR/First Aid certification and DSP training preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities; experience with challenging behaviors an asset.
  • Valid California driver's license and clean driving record required.
