The Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional II to join our team. As a DSP II, you will work closely with adults with developmental disabilities to ensure their daily needs are met, promoting independence, dignity, and well-being.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring seamless day-to-day support for our clients.
  • Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and feeding, while promoting autonomy and confidence.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, considering dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Establish positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and families, demonstrating empathy, respect, and professionalism.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; certification as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) 1 & 2, RBT (Registered Behavior Technician), and CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) training essential.
  • Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, preferably in a caregiving or supporting role.
  • A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record required.
