Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Systems Technician to contribute to our client's operational success in the Northern Virginia area. This role is essential for managing and executing tasks related to IT operations and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting support for information systems and peripheral hardware.
- Diagnose and address internal inquiries related to personal computers and associated systems.
- Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware and software as needed.
- Offer end-user software troubleshooting and support.
- Participate in the administration of email systems and coordinate the development of deliverables and products.
- Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies and participate in special projects as required.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 3 years in IT operations support.
- Must possess a valid DoD Information Assurance (IA) Certification, such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+ CE, Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), or CCNA-Security. CompTIA Security+ CE is preferred.
- Ability to lift equipment weighing 20-30 pounds and perform tasks that require walking, standing, and professional interaction with customers.
