This Analyst role, based in Atlanta, will primarily focus on asset management, providing exposure to lease evaluations, business plan formulation and execution, asset valuations, and property dispositions within Brookfield's Southeast U.S. industrial portfolio. The Analyst will also engage in underwriting, market analysis, portfolio management, and development and construction projects, collaborating with various teams in the Atlanta office. This position offers extensive insights into the U.S. logistics market through real estate management and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in the leasing process, evaluating potential leases and their financial implications on investments.
  • Assess third-party appraisals and conduct internal valuations.
  • Perform comprehensive quarterly financial statement analyses, reviewing rent rolls, current and future cash flows, and forecasting cash flows using Argus.
  • Conduct financial analyses, including Argus valuation models and Excel-based underwriting of pro formas, cash flow projections, and sensitivity analyses.
  • Support asset managers in developing annual operating budgets, including leasing and capital project forecasts.
  • Provide analytical assistance to colleagues in Fund Operations, Investments, and Development.
  • Participate in additional tasks and initiatives to gain exposure to acquisitions, development, portfolio management, and market research as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, or a related field.
  • Proven interest in real estate.
  • Experience with Argus is required; familiarity with VTS is a plus.
  • Strong grasp of financial principles and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Effective communication, time management, and presentation skills.
  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to confidently share ideas and recommendations.
