Customer Service Representative

Job Summary
As a Customer Service Representative at Genuine Parts Company, you will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by accurately fulfilling customer orders and managing incoming customer calls. This position requires strong communication skills, reliability, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, provide quotes, and handle order entry.
• Place customer orders via various methods, including telephone, fax, email, electronic methods, or walk-in sales.
• Negotiate sale prices and purchase prices to influence Motion Industries' gross profit.
• Build customer relationships to drive repeat business by relating to customers and driving process improvements.
• Order items to maintain appropriate inventory levels for customers.
• Partner with Account Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements
Typically requires a high school diploma or GED and zero to three years of related experience or an equivalent combination. Knowledge, skills, and abilities include reliability, organization, and attention to detail, as well as strong communication skills and moderate computer skills.
