Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative at Genuine Parts Company, you will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by accurately fulfilling customer orders and managing incoming customer calls. Your strong communication skills and ability to multitask will enable you to provide excellent customer service while meeting the demands of the role.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, provide quotes, and handle order entry.

Place customer orders via telephone, fax, email, electronic methods, or walk-in sales.

Negotiate sale prices and purchase prices to influence Motion Industries' gross profit.

Build customer relationships to drive repeat business by relating to the customer and driving process improvements.

Order items to ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained for customers.

Partner with Account Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED and zero to three years of related experience or an equivalent combination.

Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening skills.

Ability to multitask and time management skills required.

Moderate computer skills, including information processing, communicating internally and externally via email, and using business systems.
