Senior Sales Executive

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sales Executive to join our Tax & Accounting Professionals Large client segment team. As a Senior Sales Executive, you will be responsible for retaining and growing existing account bases and acquiring new accounts within your geographic area of responsibility.
You will develop trust and credibility with all account stakeholders through your knowledge of Thomson Reuters' products and services, as well as your acquired knowledge of the tax and accounting industry. You will tailor client presentations to meet the unique needs of individual accounts and articulate proposals through ROI justification to shorten the sales cycle.
Key Responsibilities- Consult with customers to understand their needs, growth goals, and partner with them to identify opportunities to meet/exceed customer needs and provide the right solutions to address those needs, improve operations, and grow revenue.
- Attain sales and renewal targets and quotas on a monthly basis.
- Demonstrate the use of Tax & Accounting products to customers.
- Obtain and provide territory information regarding market intelligence and penetration.
- Confer with and assist in customer-related issues as needed to maintain good customer relations.
- Complete weekly sales performance reports and completes all CRM reporting in a timely and accurate manner.
- Drive strategic initiatives supported by assigned account team consisting of Sales Development Representative, Account Development Representative, and Solutions Consultants to drive growth in assigned territory.
- Leverage sales automation tools and data insights to engage prospects and expedite sales cycles.
You're a fit for the role if you have:
- Minimum 5 years' successful sales experience, with at least 3 years selling Tax software.
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
- Proven/consistent track record of quota attainment.
- Software as a Service Sales (SAAS) experience a plus.
- Working knowledge of sales concepts, methods, and techniques.
- Excellent communication skills & presentation skills to maximize phone and virtual client meetings/presentations.
- Strong prospecting and closing skills.
- Ability to sell UltraTax new, GST new, OneSource new, Automation new, Tax Research new, and cross sell/upsell to current client base.
- Strong time management and organization skills.
- Ambitious self-starter with high energy and motivation.
- Highly proficient in MS Office suite, utilizing a CRM (such as Salesforce preferred) and overall technical aptitude.
- Continuous learner, flexible, and open-minded, positive attitude.
- High level of integrity and understanding of sales ethics.
- Willingness to travel.
