Job Overview:
ACT1 Federal is seeking a Recruitment Specialist.

The Recruitment Specialist will manage the complete recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, and onboarding candidates as ACT1 Federal expands its workforce.

You will collaborate with functional leads to assess staffing requirements and to recruit, interview, and select potential new hires.


Key Responsibilities:


Work closely with hiring managers during the requisition process to develop job postings using ACT1's compensation framework to outline job responsibilities and salary recommendations.


Establish and maintain strong partnerships with hiring managers, program managers, and site leads to understand their missions and cultures, ensuring the identification of suitable candidates for their specific needs.


Plan recruitment advertising and post job openings in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.


Utilize various sourcing methods, including databases, online resources, networking, job fairs, media advertisements, recruitment agencies, and employee referrals to find candidates.


Conduct interviews and assess candidates based on their experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the job.


Prepare candidate evaluations, provide information about the company and benefits, and coordinate background checks to facilitate a smooth hiring and onboarding process.


Maintain ongoing communication with hiring managers regarding the status of job openings, candidate quality, and recruitment progress throughout the hiring cycle.


Ensure accurate documentation of all candidates and recruitment activities in the applicant tracking system, while tracking metrics related to recruitment in compliance with company policies and regulations.


Continuously explore and implement innovative sourcing strategies for direct and contingent hires.


Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of demonstrated experience as a Recruiter/Recruitment Specialist in the government contracting sector required.

In-depth knowledge of DoD clearances, government contracting, and OFCCP regulations is essential.

Experience in filling direct and contingent roles in areas such as Finance, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Program Management, and Acquisition within a government contracting context is required.

Proficient in various interview formats, including phone, virtual, and panel interviews.

Strong internet research skills, including sourcing and database mining techniques.

Self-motivated and results-oriented.

Effective collaboration and communication skills with candidates and hiring managers are essential.


Ability to make informed decisions and escalate complex issues to management as needed.

Detail-oriented, organized, and possessing excellent time management skills.

Experience with Workable ATS is preferred but not mandatory.
