Key Responsibilities

  • Actively engage in Leadership Team discussions and other forums regarding the strategic planning and advancement of the institution, aligning with the School Strategic Plan.
  • Provide essential strategic guidance to the Finance Committee, School Council, and Leadership Team concerning financial management.
  • Develop and implement systems and procedures that establish best practices in financial management, ensuring compliance with audit standards, relevant policies, and authorities.
  • Optimize resource allocation, including the creation, execution, and oversight of the college budget.
  • Manage administrative and other program budgets as necessary, assisting program leaders in budget management.
  • Offer strategic insights regarding Workforce Planning.
  • Review and analyze relevant staffing reports, collaborating with the School Funding Unit as needed.
  • Oversee the recruitment process in partnership with the College Principal and HR Manager.
  • Lead the administrative workforce, providing support and training to promote professional development, ensuring effective consultative arrangements.
  • Establish and manage operational practices that ensure efficient delivery of support services.
  • Attend Finance Committee and School Council meetings as required.
  • Perform additional duties relevant to the classification to support effective service delivery.

Additional Information

This is a multi-campus institution, and travel between campuses may be necessary.
