Position Overview: The Clinical Nurse Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the clinical unit, ensuring alignment with our organizational mission, vision, and goals.


  • Operational Efficiency: Facilitate effective unit-based throughput efforts by managing timely bed assignments, ensuring equitable and safe clinical workloads for all team members.
  • Resource Management: Optimize the use of available resources in a responsible manner to guarantee the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care.
  • Evidence-Based Interventions: Identify and implement strategies that enhance input, throughput, and output processes.
  • Staff Engagement: Foster a supportive and compassionate environment for the clinical team.
  • Clinical Resource Allocation: Proactively plan and execute strategies to address urgent clinical needs while ensuring safe practices.
  • Mentorship: Act as a role model, empowering clinical staff to find innovative solutions to patient care challenges.
  • Practice Improvement: Support the clinical team in implementing evidence-based changes to enhance care quality.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the delivery of quality patient care by coordinating organizational priorities with the Clinical Director.
  • Inter-Professional Collaboration: Lead collaborative efforts among care teams to achieve optimal clinical outcomes.
  • Care Quality Improvement: Identify and support initiatives aimed at enhancing nursing-sensitive care quality indicators and preventing potential errors.

Qualifications: A minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care environment, with at least 1 year in a leadership role. Candidates must be graduates of an NLN accredited nursing program.


  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required; a Master's degree is preferred or should be pursued within 6-12 months of hire.
