The Clinical Nurse Specialist serves as a professional caregiver, taking on responsibility and accountability for a specific group of patients during a designated timeframe.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Adheres to established protocols and guidelines.
- Engages in open communication with internal stakeholders and supervisors.
- Delivers outstanding customer service, effectively interacting with all levels of staff, management, and physicians.
- Embodies Cooper's core values.
- Undertakes additional duties as necessary.
A minimum of 2 years of acute care experience within the specified float district is required.
**Educational Qualifications**
Must be a graduate of an NLN-accredited School of Nursing.
**Licensure and Certification Requirements**
Current NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse); Current American Heart Association BLS Certification (Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers); certain specialties may necessitate advanced certifications (e.g., ACLS, NALS, PALS).
**Special Requirements**
Shifts: 7 pm - 7 am, including weekends and holidays are mandatory.
