What You'll Do

The Overnight Guest Service Agent is responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, handling registration and check-out, PBX operations, mail and message service, and ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Review arrivals, noting special requests and blocking rooms as needed.
  2. Check in and out hotel guests in a confident, professional, and friendly manner.
  3. Answer all phone calls promptly and knowledgeably, ensuring complete and accurate information.
  4. Complete all items on the appropriate checklist by the end of the shift.
  5. Conduct pre-assignment of hotel rooms, including VIPS, repeat guests, packages, and special requests.
  6. Follow established key control policy.
  7. Ensure proper credit policies are followed.
  8. Submit all lost and found articles with a completed lost and found report.
  9. Familiarize yourself with all fire and emergency procedures.
  10. Open, secure, and balance the daily shift bank, counting and verifying cash, check, and credit card transactions.
  11. Verify credit limit reports.
  12. Monitor room availability throughout the shift.
  13. Review the daily selling status of the hotel using the yield management system.
  14. Attend department meetings once a month.
  15. Communicate effectively via telephone and/or radio with other departments.

What You Bring

Previous experience in a Front Desk or customer-facing role is beneficial. A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Familiarity with the local area, services, attractions, and events is also helpful. A flexible schedule, ability to work overnights, weekends, and holidays, and a strong work ethic are essential.
