Job Summary

The Market HR Manager will report to a designated DHR representing the Full-Service hotels in market and will focus on delivering Human Resources services that meet or exceed the needs of employees and enable business success, as well as driving compliance with federal, state and local regulations and company operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading Relationship Building Efforts with Local Organizations and Individuals
  • Executing pro-active relationship-building strategy with community-based organizations (CBOs) and government-based organizations (GBOs) to enhance Employer Brand in marketplace and drive additional applicant flow.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with local sources/resources of external talent.
  • Attending job fairs and ensuring documentation of outreach efforts in accordance with Human Resource Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Networking with local organizations (e.g., Hotel Association and peers) to promote awareness of Marriott's talent needs for current or future openings.
  • Maintaining and identifying new and creative locally-based relationship recruiting sources.
  • Preparing a calendar of events monthly/annually of all on and off-site events.
  • Promoting positive representation of hotels in the employment marketplace.
  • Producing quarterly reports for market stakeholders.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED; 2 years experience in the human resources, management operations, or related professional area.
  • OR
  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related major; experience in human resources, management operations, or related professional area.
