Compensation: The salary range for this managerial position is between $145,000 and $165,000.

Relocation: A relocation package is offered to qualified candidates.

Work Schedule: This is an onsite role with working hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The distribution center is typically cleared of products by 3:00 PM each day.

Role Overview: We are seeking a Technical Manager to oversee system and process management (not personnel management). Candidates with slightly less experience may be considered for a Senior Analyst role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with distribution center and warehouse managers to ensure the smooth operation of the Oracle Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Possess a minimum of 8 years of experience with Oracle WMS.
  • Have a background in managing distribution centers.
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree, with a Master's degree preferred.
  • Work alongside the Warehouse Team to establish standards and policies related to Oracle WMS.
  • Identify and implement process and system enhancements, including those for distribution center operations.
  • Generate reports on distribution center system usage, identifying trends and potential issues.
  • Coordinate system upgrades in collaboration with the IT team.

Position Summary: The Oracle WMS & Supply Chain Technology Manager will be responsible for managing the systems and processes of the organization, focusing on the integration and support of all distribution center systems applications. This role emphasizes optimizing the performance of distribution center systems and processes, developing and measuring key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring project milestones are met, and providing user support for any system-related issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Supply Chain, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (required); a Master's degree is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience with Oracle WMS, including at least 3 years in a consulting capacity.
  • Strong technical knowledge of distribution center and IT systems.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Proven success in delivering large-scale and high-volume platforms.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for business needs.

Essential Duties:

  • Ensure adherence to standards, processes, and policies to maintain solution integrity and quality.
  • Develop and support efficient global distribution center operational processes and systems to minimize waste and manual tasks across receiving, putaway, picking, and outbound logistics.
  • Conduct regular evaluations of all distribution center operational systems and activities to promote continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and report on distribution center system usage and productivity, identifying issues and trends for management review.
  • Establish and maintain quality management systems for all food and non-food processes.
  • Coordinate upgrades of distribution center systems/WMS with internal and external IT resources.
  • Create and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for distribution center systems and processes, ensuring regular audits and version control.
  • Provide guidance to distribution center management and staff on process improvements and system training.
  • Engage with various organizational levels, from collaborating with business system analysts to discussing strategies with leadership.
  • Partner with IT and operations leaders on change management for distribution center processes and systems.
  • Work with senior leadership to manage demand, capacity, and budget considerations.
  • Collaborate with vendors, local teams, offshore teams, and other departments to achieve operational and strategic objectives.
