Overview

Park Tavern on Washington Square is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Experience Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving the success of our business.

About You

We are looking for someone with at least two years of experience in Food & Beverage management, preferably in a San Francisco restaurant setting. Your excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, emotional maturity, and ability to connect with others will enable you to build strong relationships with our guests and staff. You should be a self-motivated leader who can navigate ambiguity and carve a new path.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate a welcoming atmosphere that inspires loyalty and retention among our guests.
  • Drive the culture of hospitality, guiding and inspiring exceptional team performance, and mentoring supervisors and team members.
  • Oversee opening and closing procedures, ensuring completion of all side work before and after service.
  • Cover the basics: cleanliness, timeliness, and consistency; follow laws and mandates, demonstrate qualities of a respectful leader of a business in our San Francisco community.
  • Seek opportunities for enhancing guest experience and fostering memorable moments of hospitality.
  • Foster open communication among team members, providing feedback and coaching to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Build team capability, knowledge, and resources to meet short and long-term objectives.

Salary

The estimated salary for this role is $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least two (2) years of Food & Beverage management experience required.
  • Event execution experience a plus.
  • SF Department of Health certification (obtained at hire or shortly thereafter).

Work Environment

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to bend, push, pull, stand, walk, talk, or hear.
  • Frequently required to use hands to handle, or feel objects.
  • Long hours sometimes required to include weekends and holidays.
  • Medium work – exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
