Business Development Representative

The Business Development Representative is a key role in generating qualified sales leads for the VIPRE malware protection line. This position requires a result-oriented, versatile, and motivated individual to drive and grow business for a region or sector within the US or Canada.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute high-volume outbound calling campaigns to generate leads in a designated geographical area or business sector.
  • Create targeted call lists and thoroughly learn the market as well as products and services.
  • Use knowledge of company products and services to promote product sales and accurately document and manage opportunities.
  • Transition prospective leads to Territory Account Manager for approval and perform other duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Working knowledge of Windows, MS Office, and CRM.
  • Excellent phone presence and ability to present value add for products and services in a concise fashion to generate interest.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment with excellent communication and human relation skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience of working within a high-velocity inside sales environment.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce and Software Sales.
Education and/or Certification Requirements:
  • HS Diploma required. 2 or 4 year college degree preferred.
