As a Cloud Transition Specialist at iManage, You Will...
Join our Cloud migration team to assist in transitioning clients from our Private Cloud to cloudiManage. Collaborate with our Professional Services team and a comprehensive network of iManage Partners to migrate on-premises customers to cloudiManage. Your key responsibilities will encompass generating pre-migration reports, enhancing and executing migrations, troubleshooting data-related issues, and refining the SQL processes that support these operations.

Engage closely with development teams as migration solutions evolve. In this role, you will consistently seek improvements in processes and leverage new technologies. A flexible work schedule is essential, as migrations often occur after hours and on weekends. As our team of Cloud Transition Specialists grows, you will have the opportunity to mentor and share your expertise with colleagues.

Your Responsibilities Include...
  • Creating remediation reports to minimize data issues before migrations.
  • Enhancing data collection and reporting methodologies.
  • Reviewing and optimizing SQL code.
  • Troubleshooting ongoing issues.
  • Executing, monitoring, and auditing migration processes.
  • Collaborating closely with SRE, PS, and other relevant teams at iManage.
  • Participating in Agile practices, utilizing Scrum methodologies, code reviews, version control systems, and tools such as GitHub, JIRA, and Jenkins.
  • Working within cross-functional teams to maintain and enhance the transition tool.
  • Documenting processes and procedures.
  • Continuously learning and sharing knowledge with global colleagues.
Your Qualifications Include...
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, coupled with 5 years of practical experience in a technical consulting role.
  • A solid understanding of the legacy iManage schema.
  • Proficiency in MS SQL (experience with other relational databases is advantageous).
  • Experience with REST APIs, .NET, Docker, and Kubernetes in Azure or other cloud platforms for complex systems.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and build management in a Cloud/SaaS context using Docker.
  • A working knowledge of document management systems is a significant advantage (iManage, eDocs, NetDocuments, etc.).
