Position: Cloud Operations Engineer – Kubernetes Specialist

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days remote)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect, develop, deploy, and maintain cloud-native applications utilizing Kubernetes and Docker in an AWS environment.
  • Formulate and execute DevOps methodologies and best practices to optimize development, testing, and deployment workflows.
  • Assist in incident and problem resolution within lower environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve intricate support challenges in non-production settings.
  • Generate procedural and troubleshooting documentation for cloud-native applications.
  • Create automation scripts using languages and tools such as YAML, JSON, Bash, Groovy, Ansible, Terraform, and Python.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Over 7 years of experience in a distributed multi-platform environment.
  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
  • At least 3 years of experience in scripting or programming.
  • Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud containerization technologies.
  • Strong programming capabilities in YAML, Helm Charts, JSON, Bash, Groovy, Ansible, Terraform, Python, or Java.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Artifactory, Jenkins, GIT, and SonarQube.
  • Understanding of cloud-based platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with Kafka infrastructure and associated processes.
