ROLE OVERVIEW:

As a Sales Associate, your primary responsibility is to assist Management in fostering a customer-centric sales environment. Our fundamental values guide all store activities, ensuring outstanding customer service and optimizing profitability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Results Orientation
  • Meet company sales objectives by implementing effective sales techniques and providing customers with insightful product knowledge; recommend items based on customer interests.
  • Stay updated on current promotions and sales; maintain pricing and display standards.
  • Follow protocols for merchandise handling, presentation, loss prevention, and other directives from Management.
  • Contribute to visual merchandising efforts by assisting with store setups and upkeep.
Customer Engagement
  • Champion and embody exceptional personalized service principles, ensuring a seamless omnichannel experience.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Facilitate quick and smooth transactions, remaining knowledgeable about payment processes, returns, security protocols, and other operational guidelines.
  • Promote additional purchases at checkout, including gift card options.
  • Enroll customers in loyalty initiatives.
  • Build lasting customer relationships through tailored services and styling advice.
  • Stay informed about current product offerings both in-store and online.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients through customer databases.
Operational Excellence
  • Assist with restocking to ensure the store remains well-supplied.
  • Support order fulfillment processes.
  • Help with visual merchandising tasks as directed, including floor layouts, window displays, and signage placements.
  • Aid in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the boutique.
Collaboration and Development
  • Foster a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Seek opportunities for personal growth and welcome constructive feedback.

The compensation range for this position is $15.50 to $19.50, depending on individual qualifications.

This role may be available across various brands, with responsibilities potentially varying.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in retail or sales is preferred
  • Minimum age of 18
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to company technologies
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and Management
  • Punctuality is essential; flexibility in work hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Prolonged walking/standing during an 8-hour shift
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs., accounting for 1-33% of an 8-hour shift
  • Frequent climbing, ranging from 34%-66% of an 8-hour shift
