Denver, Colorado, United States IMA Financial Group Full time

This is a remote opportunity in MINNESOTA

Qualified candidates MUST reside in Minnesota

We are looking for dedicated professionals in Minnesota who aspire to make a lasting impact within a thriving insurance organization.

Our underwriting position is distinctive.

In this role, you will manage relationships with approximately a dozen carefully selected, elite agencies across the state. You will have the autonomy to make all underwriting and pricing decisions as the primary point of contact: encompassing all lines, sizes, and classes of accounts, whether they are new or renewal, with few exceptions for smaller renewals.

Our pricing is not dictated by predictive models.

At our organization, pricing is not governed by models or underwritten through manuals or automated systems. As the industry shifts towards automation, our hands-on underwriting approach becomes increasingly valuable to elite agencies, providing skilled insurance professionals with the opportunity to leverage their risk assessment expertise.

  • Preferred professional industry designations (CPCU, CIC, ARM, etc.).
  • Must be self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote, virtual office setting.
  • Exceptional desk management skills are essential.
  • Light to moderate travel (15%-25%) is required for agency visits and attendance at various company events.
  • A valid driver's license is necessary.
