As the Senior Technology Client Support Manager, you will oversee a team of Business Analysts dedicated to addressing the IT needs of our clients. Your Responsibilities on a Typical Day:

  • Manage all supervisory responsibilities for assigned personnel, including performance evaluations, employee development, coaching, and counseling.
  • Distribute team resources based on demand; assist in defining resource capacity requirements.
  • Provide senior management with updates on team status while supporting departmental and organizational objectives.
  • Lead the systems implementation work stream for new business and operational/client initiatives.
  • Collaborate with users, develop or oversee solutions and functional specifications, and implement and review systems configurations.
  • Ensure that key client and operational users receive training and oversee post-implementation support.
  • Adhere to procedures within the business relationship management process area; cultivate and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Offer support for internal and external clients in accordance with the company's IT Management System; follow processes for change management, release management, incident and problem management, etc., while delivering services within established service specifications and Service Level Agreements.
  • Identify new business opportunities with existing clients and create proposals for additional services, including analyzing alternatives based on implementation and recurring costs.

What You Need to Succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work or military experience.
  • Five years of experience in developing, managing, and/or implementing warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Three years of experience leading, coaching, mentoring, or managing the work of individual contributors.
  • Experience working within a corporate IT organization utilizing IT service management principles.
  • Experience in project management of large cross-functional implementations.
  • Implementation and support experience with web-based applications.
  • Experience using formal systems development methodologies and project management practices.

It would be advantageous if you also possess:

  • A master's degree.
  • Seven years of cross-functional business experience, including technical project management, logistics and/or supply chain, IT solutions development, and customer relationship management.
  • Advanced knowledge of IT software and applications development methodologies and processes.
  • A commitment to process excellence by ensuring proper, efficient, and accurate use of the processes.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with leadership, team members, and other departments, along with strong facilitation, time management, and project management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; capable of presenting clear, organized, and thorough information and data suitable for the intended audience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows applications; ability to quickly learn and achieve proficiency in new software applications.
