Job Summary

HealthEcareers - Client is seeking a skilled Emergency Department Nurse Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the healthcare team, the successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care and support in a fast-paced emergency department setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to emergency department patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and department efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, adhering to regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices, technologies, and research in emergency nursing.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure and active registration with the state nursing board.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in emergency department nursing, with a strong focus on patient care and team collaboration.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and NIHSS certifications.
  • PALS certification a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
