Job Overview

We are seeking an Executive Support Specialist to join our team at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. This role will provide administrative support to the Office of the Dean and Director in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences (CALS).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule logistics and secure resources for meetings, conferences, travel, and work unit operations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, responding to inquiries and providing administrative support.
  • Develop and implement methods and organizational systems to maintain electronic and physical records related to work operations.
  • Prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including email, word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and virtual platforms.

Salary: $23.50 per hour. The starting salary range may vary based on experience and qualifications.
