Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team at Lennar Homes. As an IT Support Specialist, you will provide technical support for all computer systems, network infrastructure, and communication equipment across our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and courteous manner, ensuring minimal disruption to our business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Support
    • Provide technical support for computer systems, network infrastructure, and communication equipment.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and courteous manner.
    • Ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Network Administration
    • Administer and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
    • Configure and troubleshoot network devices and connections.
  • Communication Support
    • Provide technical support for communication equipment, including phones, printers, and copiers.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to communication equipment.
  • Documentation and Reporting
    • Document technical issues and resolutions in a centralized ticketing system.
    • Provide regular status reports to management on technical issues and resolutions.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in IT support or a related field.
  • Technical Skills
    • CompTIA A+ or equivalent IT certifications preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of computer systems, network infrastructure, and communication equipment.
    • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Soft Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Physical and Office Requirements

This role requires regular attendance at company offices and job sites during regular working hours. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lift up to 50 pounds, and operate a motor vehicle is required.
