Job Title: Student Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Student Support Specialist to join our team. As a Student Support Specialist, you will provide exceptional support to prospective and current students, ensuring a seamless and successful experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist students with various needs related to our programs, providing necessary information, troubleshooting issues, and assisting with accurate completion of required documentation.
  • Respond to student, faculty, staff, and community inquiries, resolving complaints and issues, and providing direction to appropriate personnel or departments as needed.
  • Research, respond, and resolve routine student program issues, referring complex issues to the appropriate manager or administrator for consultation.
  • Provide support to administrators, faculty, counselors, and managers to facilitate urgent and non-urgent student and general public communication.
  • Work closely with Student Services, Academic Success Counseling, Instructional Faculty, and other departments across the college to ensure cohesive and collaborative student service.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of experience in a highly responsible customer support capacity, involving frequent customer contact, preferably in an educational environment.
  • One year of college-level courses can substitute for one year of experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Salesforce or other customer relationship management software.
