Job Overview

Position Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in our financial planning and analysis team at Regal Entertainment. This position involves a range of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Essential duties include, but are not limited to:

1. **Consistent Attendance**: Maintain regular attendance to ensure smooth operations.
2. **Financial Analysis**: Analyze financial data and develop financial models to assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
3. **Cash Flow Analysis**: Prepare discounted cash flow assessments for capital expenditure projects, utilizing key performance indicators such as return on investment and payback period.
4. **Financial Statement Review**: Understand and evaluate the three primary financial statements: Cash Flow, Income Statement, and Balance Sheet to pinpoint critical financial areas.
5. **Monthly Close Support**: Aid in the monthly closing process by providing variance analysis between actual and budgeted figures to help financial managers grasp their financial status.
6. **Analytical Reporting**: Compile the monthly Financial Results Analytical Pack, a KPI-driven report that highlights key focus areas for management teams.
7. **Presentation Preparation**: Create strategic analytical presentations that effectively communicate complex analytical concepts in a clear and concise manner.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

- **Education**: A Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Analytics, Business Analytics, Accounting, or Finance.
- **Experience**: A minimum of five years in corporate financial analysis, data analytics, or statistical analysis.
- **Skills**: Proficiency in advanced Excel functions, experience with various information systems, and the ability to transform raw data into actionable insights.
