Position Overview
This role is an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant Crisis and Diversion team. The primary focus will be on overseeing the Civil Commitment process after commitment, as well as providing backup for pre-commitment assessments. The ideal candidate will possess skills in community engagement and resource coordination aimed at helping individuals stabilize within community services.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and deliver treatment to individuals and families, including group therapy sessions.
- Provide crisis assessment and intervention services as needed.
- Monitor individuals under civil commitment, both in institutional settings and within the community.
- Organize trial visits and manage necessary documentation and court reports.
- Engage with community members and organizations to facilitate post-commitment investigations.
- Screen referrals for appropriateness and conduct intake evaluations to set service goals.
- Connect clients with various community resources, including counseling, medical services, and vocational support.
- Participate in team meetings and case reviews to discuss client progress and potential services.

Qualifications
- A Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related behavioral science field is required.
- A Bachelor's degree in nursing or occupational therapy with appropriate licensure is also acceptable.
- At least one year of post-master's experience in the behavioral health sector is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications
- Candidates with LCSW, CSWA, or those eligible for LCSW licensure will be given preference.

Special Requirements
- Must be licensed or credentialed as a Qualified Mental Health Professional within the first month of employment.
- Candidates must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- A background check will be conducted, and passing a pre-employment drug screening is mandatory.
