Role Responsibilities

As a multi-registered Ultrasound Technologist, you will ensure a safe and efficient work environment while assisting in the management of the Medical Imaging Department. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering high-quality ultrasound services, including OB/GYN, abdominal, breast, small parts, neurological, and limited vascular examinations.
  • Capturing and documenting images of internal organs for diagnostic purposes.
  • Collaborating effectively with team members to meet departmental needs.
  • Traveling to various facilities as required to support staffing needs.
  • Maintaining ultrasound equipment and reporting any malfunctions.
  • Assisting with patient transport as necessary.
Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you should possess:

  • Graduation from an accredited School of Sonography or equivalent on-the-job training.
  • Current registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (A.R.D.M.S.) with at least two registries.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Experience in OB/GYN, abdominal, and small parts ultrasound.
  • Preferred experience in neurological and limited vascular ultrasound.
  • A minimum of six months of abdominal ultrasound experience, with credit for formal clinical training.
