We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team at Memorial Hermann Health System. As a key member of our perioperative team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our surgical teams.
Key Responsibilities- Provide proficient perioperative patient care through the use of equipment and instrumentation.
- Function as a scrub assistant to the physician performing operative and/or invasive procedures.
- Work under the direction of a Registered Nurse and as outlined in the Surgical Technologist Skills Inventory.
- Use knowledge and expertise to act as a role model and resource for other staff.
- Graduate of a Surgical Technologist Program.
- Certified in Basic Life Support and current Certification as a Surgical Technologist by the National Board of Surgical Technology & Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).
- 1+ year of Hospital experience required.
- 3-5+ years of Ortho experience preferred.
