Responsibilities:

* Provide administrative support to the Corps Officer(s), including switchboard operation, meeting preparation, and maintenance of bulletin boards and magazine displays.
* Assist with the planning and execution of corps programs, including Sunday School, Bible Study, Older Adult Ministries, Women's Ministries, and Youth Programs.
* Maintain mailing lists and databases, and ensure compliance with TSA policy and procedure.
* Provide leadership for and/or assist corps leaders in various events, including older adult activities and transportation for programs.
* Assist with fund raising efforts, special projects, and seasonal activities, such as summer camp and Angel Tree.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the Corps Officer.

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent.
* 1 year clerical and administrative experience, prior experience working with youth preferred.
* Ability to work within a diverse population, be non-judgmental, and communicate effectively in standard English.
* Ability to work independently and cooperatively with others, manage multiple demands, and plan, organize time wisely.
* Self-motivated and able to perform with limited supervision.
* Ability to operate basic office equipment and proficiency in Microsoft applications.

Working Conditions:

* Work is performed in a typical office environment.
* Some weekend and evening work may be required.
