We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Hospitalist Coordinator to support the daily operations of our hospitalist program. This role involves scheduling, administrative duties, communication with healthcare teams, and ensuring the efficient delivery of hospitalist services.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage hospitalist physician schedules, including last-minute changes and emergency coverages as needed.
- Facilitate communication between hospitalists, nursing staff, administration, and other departments.
- Assist with scheduling trainings or meetings for the hospitalist staff and develop strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of hospitalist services.
- Provide administrative support to the hospitalist team, including data entry, record-keeping, and other tasks as needed.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a hospital or another medical environment is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
- A minimum of two years' administrative experience is required.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills are required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is required.
