At Select Medical's Critical Illness Recovery Hospitals, you will be providing care for some of the most vulnerable patients in our community. We specialize in treating chronically and critically ill or post-ICU patients who require extended hospital care. Our organization employs over 50,000 individuals nationwide, delivering quality care to approximately 70,000 patients daily across our four divisions.

  • Assist patients with personal care tasks such as bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, and grooming.
  • Respond promptly to patient calls and provide services that enhance their physical well-being.
  • Engage in hourly patient rounds.
  • Transport patients to and from treatment areas as needed; assist in moving patients safely.
  • Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of medical equipment and patient care items.
  • Keep patient rooms tidy and organized, including making beds.
  • Maintain adequate stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.

Qualifications:

Demonstrating an understanding of patient needs is essential, ensuring that each patient feels informed, understood, and valued. You should be committed to providing high-quality care and possess strong problem-solving skills in a dynamic environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, or relevant work experience (3+ years).
  • BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
  • Prior hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant, or experience in a related field such as a medical assistant or as an actively enrolled nursing student.

Nursing students may be considered for nursing assistant roles if approved by the State Practice Act.
