Job Summary

Concerto Renal Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patient Care Educator to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality training and education to new employees, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills necessary to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for new employees, including didactic theory and clinical competencies
  • Provide direct instruction and supervision to employees, ensuring they meet the necessary requirements for clinical competence
  • Act as a role model and mentor, demonstrating professional interactions and behaviors
  • Assess and evaluate employee progress, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborate with regional and facility staff to ensure effective adult learning environments and high-quality patient care
  • Monitor and reinforce adherence to infection control practices and policies
  • Provide ongoing feedback and support to employees, promoting a culture of continuous quality improvement
Requirements
  • Minimum of one year dialysis experience and certification as a Patient Care Technician (PCT) by a nationally recognized board
  • CPR instructor certification preferred
  • Valid driver's license and proof of insurance
  • Ability to meet certification requirements in the state of employment
