Position Overview:
POWER Engineers is in search of a Senior Civil/Structural Overhead Transmission Line Engineer to join our Power Delivery Overhead Transmission Line Department.

Key Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will engage in comprehensive transmission line design activities, including the development of new lines, modifications, enhancements, and the integration of fiber optics.

Work Environment:
This role offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing the candidate to operate from a location outside of a designated POWER Engineers office. Occasional travel to a POWER office for meetings may be required.

Required Qualifications:
- A degree in Civil (BSCE) or Electrical (BSEE) from an accredited institution, ideally with a focus on power systems.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in PLS-CADD/Transmission Line Design is essential, with 10 years being preferred.
- Proficiency in designing overhead High Voltage and Extra High Voltage transmission lines, including route selection, line and structure positioning, structure design and analysis, and the creation of construction bid packages.
- Strong command of the English language, with excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with both internal teams and external clients.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office software suite.

Preferred Qualifications:
- A Professional Engineering license (PE) is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated managerial and leadership capabilities.

Salary Information:
The base salary range for this position is $87K - $125K. This range is compliant with state and local regulations and is determined based on various factors, including the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education.
