Electrical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at TNT, Inc. as a Project Lead. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong technical background and excellent leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities- Lead electrical engineering teams on small to large materials handling projects, providing technical guidance and oversight to ensure successful project delivery.
- Develop and implement electrical engineering designs, including protection and control schemes, equipment specifications, and power distribution layouts.
- Manage electrical sub-contracts and vendors, ensuring compliance with client and TNT technical specifications.
- Review and approve electrical engineering designs, specifications, and estimates, ensuring they meet project requirements and company standards.
- Collaborate with structural and mechanical engineering departments to ensure seamless project execution.
- Identify and manage scope and schedule changes, ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including project schedules, budgets, and technical documentation.
- Engineering degree from a recognized university or professional institution, along with a Professional Engineer designation or ability to register as a Professional Engineer.
- Minimum of 7 years industrial, mining, or process plant experience, with a strong background in electrical engineering and project management.
- Previous on-site construction and commissioning experience required.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including protection and control schemes, equipment specifications, and power distribution layouts.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Fluent in both Spanish and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
- CET or Professional Engineer with (P.) designation preferred.
- PMP designation or accreditation preferred.
- Experience with EPLAN design software and AutoCAD a major asset.
- Knowledge of Spanish a benefit.
