Position Overview:
The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of guest accommodations, adhering to comprehensive cleaning protocols throughout the establishment. This role is crucial in ensuring that all cleanliness standards are met, in accordance with brand and health guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough cleaning and sanitization of guest rooms on a daily basis.
  • Remove trash and soiled linens from public areas, hallways, and guest rooms.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in hallways, public spaces, and storage areas.
  • Restock cleaning carts with necessary supplies, including sanitization products.
  • Replenish cleaning chemical containers as needed.
  • Ensure overall satisfaction with cleanliness in all guest areas and touchpoints.
  • Promptly report maintenance issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager.
  • Follow cleaning and sanitization protocols as per health and brand standards.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent; experience in hospitality or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally, and 20 pounds frequently.
  • Capability to stand for the duration of the shift.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on attentive and courteous service to guests and team members.
