Position Overview:
The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of guest rooms, adhering to a comprehensive cleaning protocol throughout the establishment while following all brand and health guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of guest rooms on a daily basis.
  • Remove all waste and soiled linens from public areas, hallways, and guest rooms.
  • Ensure that hallways, public spaces, and storage areas are kept clean, organized, and vacuumed.
  • Restock cleaning and sanitization supplies, including mops, wipes, and brooms.
  • Replenish chemical supply bottles as needed.
  • Guarantee overall cleanliness satisfaction for all guest rooms, public areas, and high-touch points.
  • Report any maintenance issues promptly to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager.
  • Clean and sanitize in accordance with health and brand standards.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred, along with experience in hospitality or a related field.
  • Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
  • Capability to stand for the duration of the shift.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with all levels of staff and guests in a friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
