Job Summary:
The Executive Director of Vertical Markets is responsible for leading the sales and business operations within the Vertical Markets team at Digital Monitoring Products. The team focuses on developing relationships within the government sector, financial vertical, and retail market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to the day-to-day operations of the sales department, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.
- Ensure that both top-line objectives and expense budget objectives are managed and met.
- Collaborate with the Vice President of Sales to establish strategies, tactics, and go-to-market plans for sales across the entire company.
- Maintain open communication with direct reports and work with other departments to ensure overall company success.
- Develop, maintain, and improve business relations with customers.
- Prepare, review, and submit activity reports, pipeline reports, and market analyses to leadership.
Requirements:
- Sales executive with ten or more years of sales and territory management experience and at least two years working in a sales staff management capacity.
- Proven leadership ability to influence, develop, and empower employees to achieve objectives with a team approach.
- Strong interpersonal and persuasive skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively via air and automobile.
