Job Overview

As a Community Relations Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with residents and prospective residents at our 340-unit apartment community in West Knoxville. Your goal will be to ensure resident satisfaction, maintain property standards, and drive occupancy rates through effective leasing and retention strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain tenants
  • Conduct property tours for prospective residents
  • Handle leasing inquiries and applications
  • Manage tenant relations and address any concerns or issues promptly
  • Coordinate maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution
  • Monitor the property's online reputation and address all customer feedback
  • Utilize warm calling techniques to engage potential residents
  • Handle all lease and community policy violations, including notices and dispute resolution
  • Organize community events and promotions
  • Manage community social media pages to boost engagement
  • Coordinate with on-site maintenance crews to address and resolve all scheduled and as-needed repairs and maintenance
  • Schedule move ins, move outs, inspections, and maintenance work

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales, leasing, or customer management
  • Strong leadership skills to effectively manage residential properties
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with tenants, colleagues, and vendors
  • Excellent conflict resolution skills, including de-escalation techniques
  • Ability to utilize technology for property management tasks
  • Office Hours: Monday-Friday 9 am until 6 pm; Some Saturdays 10 am until 2 pm

Pay: Hourly plus Commission and Bonus Opportunities
