Job Title: Communications Business Partner

Pilot Company is a leading network of travel centers with a strong presence in the industry. We are seeking a skilled Communications Business Partner to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Communications Business Partner will serve as a key advisor to executive and business area leaders, providing strategic guidance on internal communications and overseeing the development of internal business communications strategies. This role will also manage direct reports and agency partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise executive and business area leaders on internal communications and develop internal business communications strategies
  • Manage direct reports and serve as a lead contact for agency partners
  • Oversee the development and execution of internal communications plans and written materials to inform and educate team members
  • Partner with business leaders to plan and provide communications support for internal company and business area town hall meetings
  • Collaborate with marketing communications team to develop comprehensive and integrated communications campaigns
  • Oversee the measurement and analysis of the impact of internal communications
  • Manage and prioritize the internal communications calendar for core business areas
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in corporate communications, public relations, journalism, English, or similar field
  • Minimum five years' experience in corporate or internal communications
  • Strong background with executive communication support
  • Demonstrated previous experience in writing and editing company communications content
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, advanced PowerPoint
  • Mastery of Associated Press (AP) Style writing
