Role Purpose:
The Senior Product Strategist will serve as a crucial link among various teams to guarantee successful product launches that prioritize customer satisfaction. This position necessitates collaboration with all stakeholders to articulate and drive product requirements through the lifecycle of product and release initiatives. Success in this role demands a background in crafting detailed feature specifications, planning feature content for new product introductions, and proposing innovative hardware solutions. This role will report directly to the executive leadership team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify customer challenges and unmet needs, recognizing opportunities for innovation.
  • Assess technical feasibility and business objectives, leading a cross-functional team to capitalize on identified opportunities.
  • Collaborate to define and advance product concepts, features, functionalities, and specifications to surpass customer expectations.
  • Propose new hardware offerings as part of product development.
  • Oversee product releases and launches, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Engage in product positioning discussions, contributing fresh ideas and insights from market research.
  • Maintain organized and clear documentation of product requirements throughout the development process.
  • Focus on enhancing user experience, usability, and overall functionality.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to Executive Management regarding progress and related developments.
  • Conduct ongoing customer and competitive analysis to inform product strategy.
  • Perform market research to stay abreast of competitive technologies and industry trends.
  • Deliver technical product training on new releases to both internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in a Product Management capacity, ideally with a focus on Enterprise Networking products.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Demonstrated success in defining and executing product specifications and requirements.
  • Experience in conducting competitive analysis and market research.
  • General knowledge of networking products and protocols.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, particularly in scheduling product release timelines.
  • Strong attention to detail coupled with outstanding customer support capabilities.

Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, manufacturing, or a related discipline.
