Job Overview

Position Summary:

  • Over 8 years of experience in a substantial IT application setting as a Senior Product Owner or Product Manager.
  • Proficient in collecting, evaluating, and drafting Business and System Requirements Documents as well as User Stories.
  • Experience with requirement management tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps, with a preference for Azure DevOps.
  • Direct interaction with clients, particularly those based in the US, to elicit business requirements and translate high-level client needs into detailed user stories.
  • Strong logical reasoning abilities, capable of understanding intricate requirements.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proactive and self-organized approach.
  • Familiarity with multi-tier J2EE architecture, UML, and SAFe methodologies.
  • Knowledge in the Shipping and Logistics domain is a significant advantage.

In-Depth Responsibilities:

  • More than 8 years of experience in a large IT application environment as a Senior Business Analyst, Senior Product Owner, or Product Manager.
  • Exposure to SAFe and Azure DevOps (ADO).
  • Ability to develop and prioritize a strategic roadmap.
  • Engagement in extensive production research.
  • Responsible for writing and managing features for IT teams while collaborating with business stakeholders.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for features and represent them in both business and technical discussions.
  • Create production data relevant to Agile Release Train (ART) cycles.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of the Shipping and Logistics sector is highly beneficial.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication, behavioral, and documentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including interactions with various stakeholders, business units, operations, technical IT teams, vendors, and client leadership.
  • Ability to identify areas for improvement and demonstrate analytical skills to enhance systems by assessing current practices and desired outcomes.
  • Direct experience working with clients, particularly in gathering business requirements and breaking down high-level needs into detailed user stories.
  • Possess strong logical reasoning skills and the ability to comprehend complex requirements.
