East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Chief Medical Officer to lead our medical team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing medical leadership and supervision to our medical staff, including physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide medical leadership and supervision to our medical staff
- Collaborate with senior management to direct the operation and policy setting for the Health Center
- Assist in the recruitment and orientation of primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants
- Participate in training and quality improvement activities of the organization
- Engage in daily contact with other primary care providers, nurses, medical assistants, and medical receptionists as part of the healthcare team
- Must be licensed in good standing by the RI Department of Health as an MD/DO
- Must possess a current Rhode Island and Federal Controlled Substance Certificate
- Must be board certified by the American Board of Family Practice
- Satisfactory completion of EBCAP's privileging process, and continuing education credits as mandated by any profession board, licensing agencies, or credentialing organizations
