Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Specialist to join our team at ITA Group Inc. As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will serve as the technical expert assisting the sales team with prospects to transition a prospect into a successful client.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the sales team in progressing sales processes to closure through the various sale stages.
  • Gather requirements and support the design, implementation, and coordination of activities concerning the technical solution and application of ITA Group products and integrated solutions to meet company objectives.
  • Transition clients to the operations team once a client has purchased a program.
  • Develop and maintain strong technical conversations with prospects to understand their business needs and propose solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver web applications or web-based products that meet the design of the new solution.
  • Provide excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to guide the team in a dynamic environment.
  • Manage, prioritize, and assign tasks to meet deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Travel up to 35% of the time, with international travel required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (i.e. Computer Science or equivalent) or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum five years' experience in technology / consulting / software industry.
  • Minimum five years' experience using data and process concepts to determine business requirements and design technology solutions.
  • In-depth experience in scoping and delivering web applications or web-based products to support the design of the new solution.
  • Significant client-facing experience, preferably in a pre-sale or client application delivery role.
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to work in an agile environment.
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams located internationally.
  • Ability to manage, prioritize, and assign tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work the time necessary to complete projects and/or meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with the sales process for SaaS software and product development lifecycle for technology products.
  • Solid IT or technology sales background with strong technical and communication skills.
  • Proven problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical thinking.
  • Understanding of programming languages, databases, and cloud platforms.
