Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Supervisor to join our team at Summit Medical Group. As a Front Office Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the front office operations, supervising staff, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of the office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Train Staff: Supervise and train front office and file room personnel to maximize efficiency and minimize errors.
  • Patient Check-In and Verification: Ensure that staff greets and checks in patients, verifies and updates necessary information in the medical records.
  • Scheduling and Communication: Ensure that staff maintains computerized scheduling and follows office scheduling policies, answers and screens telephone calls, takes messages, and provides appropriate information.
  • Office Functions: Ensure that other office functions, such as charge entry, are handled timely and accurately.
  • Chart and Mail Processing: Ensure that staff processes charts, mail, and other paperwork properly.
  • Training and Development: Provide meaningful training to staff and monitor their understanding and implementation of training.
  • Confidentiality and Quality Improvement: Maintain strictest confidentiality both internally and externally, actively participates in site-level Quality Improvement Activities.
Requirements
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of medical office procedures, skills in administering all appropriate clinical procedures, supervisory, organizational, and communications skills.
  • Computer Skills: Excellent computer skills with knowledge of computer systems and applications.
  • Education and Experience: High School Diploma required, prefer one year experience in a medical office setting.
